No big surprises tonight. Seek Up did manage to wrestle the show opener spot from One Sweet World and we did get Warren Haynes on Jimi Thing. The Idea Of You and Can't Stop were played for the third night in a row and Shotgun and Kill The King are still missing in action. Only a one song encore, which could be due to the crowd really wanting Everyday, the band wanting to call it an early night, or time constraints caused by an extended Jimi Thing (the most likely reason).

Was at this concert. Believe me it wasn't because the band wanted to call it an early night. Dave was making comments about how "cold" it was when it was 90 degrees with a 100 degree heat index. The crowd was feeling it and the energy was sick. The band came out at 8:30…instead of 8:05…so they called it a short set to make up for the 25 minute lack of concert they could have played. Then Everyday…pissed me off personally as the encore. There is a noise ordanance in cincy that you can't play past 11:00. When'd they stop? 11:00 on the dot. Not because we wanted everyday. I was predicting an Everday into Ants….alas…total and complete let down. This was going to be in my top 5 of shows of all time (been to 15) and now…the encore is just burning a hole into me….augh.

Highlights were Bayou, Jimi Thing, and Warehouse with Louie Louie in it

I wonder how Dave's voice was… there was a lot of lozenge sucking going on both nights at Hartford, at least that's what he said, I think, that they had to jam or take a break until he finished the lozenge.

I noticed on both shows coming back from the break that his voice sounded a little weak on the high notes. He sounded great in Riverbend. Could definitely tell on the opener, Seek Up, that his voice was back. Good show, was a bit disappointed because of the single song encore but I wouldn't want to be fined for a noice ordinance either.

Great concert. I was disappointed at the late start and one song encore, but it's completely understood due to the heat and the noise ordinance (which I didn't even think of).
