Shotgun is back, baby! After a 20 show hiatus we finally get Shotgun again. It's good to know the song isn't dead and I can't wait to hear how much it's evolved since it was last performed on June 23rd. Besides that we got Dreamgirl again, The Idea Of You and Can't Stop. Mike Durham helped close out the set by guesting on Bayou and Ants. The encore consisted of the popular BTCS combo, Pig and Stay.

I was at the show…1st of the tour, but I'm an old DMB vet, this was my 23rd show, and I have to say, one of the worst I've seen. The band was into it, they just have a crappy set list, pretty much run of the mill for this tour. Shotgun was good (I've heard all of the new stuff from getting them from your website, thanks man!), they busted out the intro to shotgun as well and the lyrics were completely different then I've heard before. I purposely didn't listen to some of the older songs to see if they changed anything (to have some suprise) and I really liked the new stuff in Anyone Seen the Bridge & Too Much (not too much new, but some funky little interludes. Closers were good, but nothing to make the show even close to some of the better ones I've seen. Disappointed Robert Randolph didn't come out this year, he lives here in Nashville, played with him last year, but not this year…oh well.
