   are they finalized??, do ya'll have the iou from the 3/24 show, also the still water song?? also, instead of 'but sometimes in my eyes', i think its 'with the sunlight in my eyes', and not 'but when you hold, you fall for me babe', but 'and when you, hope you fall for me babe'

   no cause he always refers to her as light — kinda like this time around he won't be so blinded by the light and act like a retard around her

   I've submitted lyrics on this song before and am sticking to my guns that he says "can't say what I mean" because…he's so entranced in the idea of her that he can't say what he wants to say to her. It makes sense that way, otherwise he would have fallen for her, not the idea of her…also…I'm actually not a fan of the "new chorus" with the drum beat…but what do I know…still think the song is good. This is a compilation of all the lyrics above and my edits. Enjoy - Matt

    i dont think the lady has changed either….she is still younger and he is still older- she just makes him flustered and he feels like a kid- grown men arent supposed to feel that way, so he isnt going to give into it and "pull her hair."

    ^lol like in the ramona quimby books! Maybe….. I kind of take the whole "i'm not gonna kick you in your shins" and "not gonna pull your hair" to mean that he is either a)not going to make the effort of chasing her bc she should be a big girl and go for it if she wants him or b)he is going to do more than just pull her hair if she gets herself in his path again.

    but isn't his wife pregnant by the way… she prob shouldn't be goin back, i think — i always took the line to mean that the next time he saw her he wouldn't act like such a child

    I don't think the song is about his wife….. but that is just my opinion and could be totally wrong, of course.
