^lol like in the ramona quimby books! Maybe….. I kind of take the whole "i'm not gonna kick you in your shins" and "not gonna pull your hair" to mean that he is either a)not going to make the effort of chasing her bc she should be a big girl and go for it if she wants him or b)he is going to do more than just pull her hair if she gets herself in his path again.

i dont think the lady has changed either….she is still younger and he is still older- she just makes him flustered and he feels like a kid- grown men arent supposed to feel that way, so he isnt going to give into it and "pull her hair."
