There hasn't been too much band news since the start of the break, but with the second leg starting up in a few days, get ready for the usual stream of updates. I also hope to have a cool new section of the the site running that will make reading lyrics a whole lot easier. Stay tuned…

I instantly fell in love with the music and have been a fan ever since. I have been to 10 shows since becoming a fan (starting with the 12/10/02 show in Tampa, FL) and have been an avid collector of the band's live shows through online trading.

The name of this blog is a take-off of the band's first/second song, The Song That Jane Likes. For those of you who don't know, Jane is Dave's little sister. The Song That Jane Likes first appeared on the band's debut release, Remember 2 Things. It has since appeared on the live release, The Gorge, released in 2004 as well as the album, Tribe of Heaven, recorded by Dave Matthews and Mark Roebuck (who co-wrote the song) in 1989 but not released until 2005. Despite its relative lack of official exposure, the song is the band's 20th most played song with 348 performances.
